“Wise decisions leading to happiness in relation to implant-supported prostheses: keys to reduce biological, functional and esthetic problems”

Abstract:
The stability of the peri-implant tissues in the long term, as well as the prevention of mechanical and functional problems, are main objectives when we plan a rehabilitation with implant-supported prostheses. There are many factors that influence on stability. Based on them and their clinical impact, we can make a series of practical decisions that help us minimize possible complications; from choosing the type of implants to what occlusion pattern to design. We will see how to add clinical parameters that favor a stable result, applicable in our day to day life and that help us to enjoy implant-supported prostheses.
