Estancias Clínicas
With our “Estancias Clínicas“, Calidental offers private practice training for colleagues who have concerns about Dental Implantology, Oral Surgery and prostheses and wanted to expand their knowledge with our exclusive and intensive methodology.
Purpose of stay
Improving the knowledge of surgical techniques related to treatment with osseointegrated implants as well as the clinical work of the prosthodontic phase for implant rehabilitation, from diagnosis and planning to maintenance phase.
Expanding the knowledge for the diagnosis and treatment of oral medical-surgical pathology of the daily consultation.
Share the clinical work of a dental center specialized in implants, where the trainee will work close to Dr. González and his team of professionals. Each training is personalized, and adapted to each profile and level.
METHODOLOGY
Clinical stay in Calidental:
It is a two-day full course. The stays may be periodic at the express request of the trainee. Prior acceptance of the application it is assessed the experience and clinical profile, as well as their preferences so the course is personalized covering:
- Diagnosis and therapeutic possibilities.
- Implant-supported rehabilitation planning.
- Implant insertion surgeries.
- Advanced implantology surgeries.
- Immediate Implantology.
- Registration and communication Clinical-Laboratory.
- Design, placement and adjustment of implantoprostheses.
- Cases of oral medicine and surgical pathology.
- Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of complications.
Theoretical-practical seminars:
They will be held during a full morning, to be determined. In these personalized seminars, clinical protocols and the most interesting surgical techniques are reviewed. On the other hand, trainees can consult their own clinical cases with the doctor during the course by means of collective planning of patients to be treated or discussing about already treated cases.
Stays in laboratory:
One morning to be determined by the doctors, we go to a laboratory specialized in implantoprosthesis where techniques of making CAD-CAM structures and prosthesis on implants and cutting-edge materials will be studied.
Optionally:
Trainees will have the oportunity to operate on a patient that they bring to the course, prior collective planning surgery will be carried out on the second day of clinical stay.
REQUIREMENTS AND PROFILE
The course is designed for licensed clinicians with some experience in implantology, oral surgery and implant prostheses but who have concerns and want to extend their knowledge in a practical and intensive way, with our customized methodology. Prior interview and CV presentation will be requested.
COURSE SCHEDULE
A specific week will be chosen within the months of the course (from October to May) to conduct the intensive two-day clinical stay (Tuesday and Wednesday). Trainees are required to give a month’s advance notice and confirm the reservation.
he stay in the laboratory is carried out with other doctors during one morning to be determined at the end of the course.
The topics and the presentation of the seminars are being made according to the profile and doctors´ suggestions throughout the course.
At the end of the course they will receive an accrediting diploma of this training course.
