This edition could not be different as XI Ticare Evidence Implantology Congress<\/strong><\/a> attracted more than 1,000 registered people.\u00a0 This event was held on 14th and 15th February at TeatroGoya Multiespacio in Madrid, Spain.\u00a0 Along with the usual scientific rigour featuring every Ticare scientific event, gapZero<\/strong>, the bacterial leakage free implant and studies endorsing gapZero had special mention.<\/p>\n

Presentations of the Dentistry Programme: Dr. Pablo Dom\u00ednguez, Prof. Mariano Sanz and Mr. Fernando Mozo Grau<\/em><\/p>\n

For this edition, the congress title was \u201cScientific evidence for everyday practice\u201d<\/strong> and included more than 50 high-level presentations and round-tables.\u00a0 Within the Dentistry Programme, attendees had the opportunity to receive updated information from national speakers as Prof Mariano Sanz, Dr Juan Blanco, Dr Guillermo Prad\u00edes, Dr Alberto Monje, Dr Miguel Burgue\u00f1o, Dr Alberto Salgado and Mr Manuel Izquierdo<\/strong>.\u00a0 Renowned international speakers as Dr Hom-Lay Wang, Dr Marco Esposito, Dr Conrado Aparicio, Dr Carlos Larrucea and Dr Rui Figueiredo<\/strong> also presented.\u00a0 This congress was divided in five thematic blocks: \u201cThe current state of prosthodontics\u201d, \u201cLast trends in implantology\u201d, \u201cPeriodontology and regeneration\u201d, \u201cAesthetics\u201d and \u201cCurrent state of oral surgery\u201d.<\/p>\n

As a novelty, a television studio<\/strong> was installed to carry out debates and interviews to speakers and other opinion leaders.\u00a0 All the content is available on the congress web page (congreso.ticareimplants.com) and on Ticare YouTube channel.\u00a0\u00a0 Besides, six finalists defended their posters submitted for the Clinical Case Competition in front of the jury formed by Dr Arturo S\u00e1nchez, Dr Pablo Dom\u00ednguez and Dr Rui Figueiredo.\u00a0 The winners were Dr Francisco Bejarano, Dr Manuel Bernal and Dr Bel\u00e9n Pedre\u00f1o<\/strong>, in first, second and third position respectively.<\/p>\n
