FULL MOUTH RESTORATION WITH OSSEOUS IMPLANTS<\/strong><\/span>
\nThis case study involves a 40-year old patient with advanced chronic adult periodontitis resulting in total tooth loss. An assessment revealed the need for a maxillary and mandibular crown and alveolar ridge restoration without the need for a soft tissue extension and therefore two hybrid resin-bonded metal prostheses were selected for this patient. A 3D scan was performed using a radiographic template made from a duplicate of the temporary prosthesis. A total of 6 Osseous implants were placed in the maxilla with 5 placed in the mandible. After the osseointegration period, the prosthetic protocol included splinted impressions, semi-adjustablearticulator, mock-up of teeth andcobalt-chrome metalprosthesis and final placement of the prosthesis.<\/p>\n
