Tooth 11 had a vertical fracture and had to be extracted. Following the extraction, an InHex standard implant (4.25 mm diameter and 13 mm length) was immediately placed in a palatal-oriented position. The gap was filled with a biomaterial, a connective-tissue graft was performed using an envelope technique and the socket was sealed with an epithelial-connective tissue graft. After 3 months, a temporary restoration was fitted which was used to model the soft tissue.
